BE completed the transformation of this 263 Shuman rooftop from ugly, unused space, to gorgeous outdoor cafe and lounge. We designed and built this project over several months from early spring until June of this year.
We installed a 2200 square foot Elevated ¾” Porcelain Paver system.
The pavers are set on adjustable MRP pedestals with wind uplift system.
We installed 600 square foot Elevated Concrete Pavers for Emergency Egress Walkway and Landing.
There was a 400 square foot Green Roof Tray System included for water management and green design.
This included a root barrier, edging, and pre-grown Sedum trays.
We hoisted 27 Brisbane 36”x24”x32” Planter Boxes onto the roof and filled them with perennials of Allium, Salvia and Prairie Dropseed Grasses.
All materials were lifted to the construction site using crane from the parking lot to the rooftop deck.
