Rebecca Teffeteller holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Eastern Illinois University and a certificate in Horticultural Therapy. Her passion lies in connecting people with nature, and she hopes to bring therapeutic horticulture into senior communities. With a professional philosophy rooted in sustainability and low environmental impact, Rebecca is driven by a belief that thoughtful landscape design can help people feel more grounded and connected.
Before entering the industry, Rebecca was a property manager who discovered her enthusiasm for landscaping through project oversight. One of her proudest career moments is helping individuals who never saw themselves as “plant people” become inspired by the possibilities of the natural world.
Rebecca is currently exploring volunteer opportunities with the Geneva Garden Club, particularly their work with incarcerated women at the Kane County Jail, as part of her ongoing commitment to community engagement and healing through horticulture.
