Guy Cantu Business Development Old Mill Creek
Guy Cantu joined the landscape industry in 2022, bringing a strong passion for the work and an appreciation for the transformation that quality landscaping can create. Growing up around the business, Guy developed an early love for seeing the “before and after” results that come from improving outdoor spaces.
In 2026, Guy became part of the BE team as a Business Development professional in our Old Mill Creek office, where he focuses on building strong customer relationships and expanding the company’s lawn maintenance services. His daily work includes networking, cold calling, and developing new opportunities, all with the goal of continuously growing his customer base and supporting BE’s long-term success.
Guy takes pride in being proactive in both client service and landscape management, believing that the best landscapes begin with listening. To him, the most beautiful yards are not only visually appealing, but also tailored to fit each client’s lifestyle.
One of Guy’s proudest professional achievements has earned him recognition outside of the landscape industry. He became a top finalist for an Award and placed in the top five salesmen out of 300 representatives—an accomplishment that had never been achieved before in his district.
Guy attended the College of DuPage as well as Davea Vocational, and he continues to bring dedication and enthusiasm to every client interaction.
When asked about an interesting moment on the job, Guy recalls visiting a client who insisted his grass wasn’t growing despite watering daily—only to discover the client was watering the entire lawn with a small watering can. Moments like these add humor and personality to the rewarding work Guy enjoys every day at Balanced Environments.
