SWEET HOME CHICAGO!

Even though our main office is in Old Mill Creek, amongst the farm fields on the northern edge of Illinois, we have a downtown Chicago office too! We design and maintain the landscape for some of the most iconic buildings in Chicago.

This summer, we had the amazing privilege to get drone footage of three gorgeous properties we maintain. Marina City, River Point and Lake Point Tower. Enjoy the birds eye view of these gorgeous spaces!

River Point

RIVER POINT

River Point

River Point boasts the largest expanse of manicured turf on the river within the Chicago loop. The vibrantly red Constellation sculpture is a Calatrava art piece and the focal point of River Point.

Some of the city’s most breath-taking views are from the upper river plaza as well as the surrounding towering skyscrapers. Metal railings provide safety at the edges of the plaza and are gently softened by live hedges of woody and herbaceous materials. Color pops, ranges in texture and fragrant plant materials provide a thrill for the senses.

Planters are utilized to provide privacy screening for the dedicated outdoor restaurant seating areas. These planters remain on the plaza year round. Proper moisture conditions and multiple anti-desiccant applications are performed during the winter months to combat the Windy City conditions and help plant longevity..

LAKE POINT TOWER

Lake Point Tower

Sitting at the western edge of Navy Pier, Lake Point Tower is the only high-rise east of Lake Shore Drive. Its 2.5 acre Skyline Park sit atop a multistory parking garage as a green roof with mature trees, hidden walkways, a water fall, numerous sculpture gardens and a secluded kidney shaped pool.
